Neil Robertson secured back-to-back wins in WChina after he exceuted a fantastic comeback to beat John Higgins in the Wuxi Classic final. The Australian had won the last major ranking event at the back end of last season, the China Open and extended his lead at the top of the rankings by winning this weekend. He trailed 5-2 at one point but won six frames on the bounce which set him up to take the £80,000 winner's prize.

He started the match well, winning the opening frame with a run of 61 but Higgins responded, winning the next two with breaks of 78 and 56. Robertson replied though, making a break of 91 to draw level at the first interval.

But Higgins restarted well after the break and made runs of 70, 93 and 82 to go 5-2. Robertson managed to minimise the damage though and came out of the first session only 5-4 behind by taking the next two with breaks of 52 and 113.

The 2010 World Champion kicked-on in the second session and took the next four frames without reply with top runs of 57 and 59.

Higgins stopped the rot by winning frame 14 with a run of 66 but Robertson moved to within a frame of victory by taking the 15th. Higgins kept his hopes alive by taking the next frame on the colours but a run of 65 helped Robertson across the line to exact revenge on Higgins for defeating him in the final of the Bulgaria Open a few weeks ago.
