Wuxi Classic Semi-Finals

Neil Robertson secured his spot in the Wuxi Classic final after defeating Robert Milkins 6-2. Had it not been for Robbo's blistering start, the match would've probably been a lot closer but at 4-0 down at the interval, the hill was too steep for Milkins to climb. Breaks of 71, 59 and 77 helped Robertson to the healthy advantage at the break.

Milkins won the next two frames to pull the score back to 4-2 but Robertson got the better of a scrappy seventh frame and wrapped the match up by hitting a break of 92.

He'll face an also in-form John Higgins who saw off Matthew Stevens by the same score line to set up a repeat of the Bulgaria Open final from a fortnight back. Higgins won a close opener and then made breaks of 61, 57 and 66 to also race to a 4-0 lead at the interval.

A run of 57 in frame five saw him go 5-0 although Stevens did restore some parity by hitting breaks of 55 and 70 to pull the score back to 5-2. But Higgins sealed victory in style by hitting a 101 century break in frame eight.
