Wuxi Classic Day 4

Neil Robertson continued his assault on this year’s Wuxi Classic as he confidently saw off Mark King 5-0. The Australian was the pre-tournament favourite to win the tournament and cruised through with breaks of 96, 75 and 111.

Anthony Hamilton's caused another surprise in the tournament
as he beat the two-times World Champion Mark Williams. The first four frames were shared but Hamilton dug deep and won frames five six and eight to book a spot in the last eight.

Elsewhere during the afternoon session, Robert Milkins continued his good start to the season as he beat another in-form player in the shape of Scott Donaldson. Milkins won the opener on the final black and took the next two to lead 3-1 at the interval. Breaks of 77 and 95 saw him through to the Quarters where he'll face Hamilton.

Cao Yupeng was in a free-scoring mood as he racked up five 50+ breaks to beat Ben Woollaston 5-3. Runs of 69, 75, 60, 71 and 73 saw him cruise into the next round.
Irishman David Morris recorded another upset as he booked his place in a ranking event quarter-final for the first time, beating Ali Carter 5-4. The first four frames were shared and the graduate from this season's Q-School took a tense 37-minute decider on the last blue.

He'll face Matthew Stevens in the quarters after thee Welshman put an end to Peter Lines' excellent run in the tournament, winning 5-3. Stevens played the better during the four scrappy frames before the interval but Leeds' Lines managed to go in at 2-2. Two breaks of 57 put Stevens 4-2 up and although Lines won frame seven, a run of 68 in frame eight secured the match.

John Higgins dominated his match against Xiao Guodong, whitewashing him with top breaks of 80 and 58. He'll play Joe Perry who defeated Dave Gilbert 5-2 in the other evening session match.
