Neil Robertson is just one win away from securing his home title for the first time after he beat Mark Selby 6-3 in their semi-final on Saturday evening. Robertson won the opener but Selby responded with breaks of 68 and 63 to go 2-1 up however Robbo levelled the scores at the interval. Selby pulled ahead again with a run of 76 in frame five to go 3-2 up but that was the end of his chances as Robertson went onto win the next four on the bounce. Runs of 86, 50 and then a tournament high break of 138 in the ninth, saw him secure a spot in the final.

He’ll play Marco Fu Sunday’s final after he secured an impressive win over an in-form Robert Milkins. The Hong Kong man led 3-1 at the interval with top breaks of 57 and 66. He won the next to go 4-1 up but Milkins launched a charge to win the next three frames to close to 4-4. A break of 60 halted the run as Fu went 5-4 up but a poor safety allowed Milkins the chance to pot blue and pink for the frame. However, the Gloucester man missed a tricky pink along the cushion, allowing Fu to pot pink and black for the match.
